Who wrote this stuff?

My name is Reed Suckow, and I'm the author of the software found on this web site. (My last name is pronounced sue ko.) My wife, Linda, and I make our home in Las Vegas, Nevada. If I don't answer your e-mail, it's probably because we're off somewhere in southern Nevada camping or exploring in my Jeep.

In the fourteen years before my present job, I taught various grades at the elementary level, from first through fifth. For the past eight years I've been an ECS (Educational Computer Strategist) in Clark County School District, Las Vegas. Until recently, my time was shared by three elementary schools. Now I'm down to two! Still, I always have plenty to do. I spend my days administering the network, keeping equipment running, and training teachers. Occasionally I still get to work with a group of students.

I understand the computing needs of elementary teachers. I work with classroom teachers every day to help them use technology to get their chores done, as well as help them integrate technology into the curriculum. I hope that in some small way you find something on this site that will help you accomplish your tasks in a better way.
